Hyundai has revealed that it is working in a E-SUV with flexible platform that can accommodate an Internal combustion or Hybrid power train.
This has been confirmed by Hyundai MD & CEO Mr. SS Kim.
This SUV is being developed in India and will primarily be a mass market electric SUV.
Based on the demand and market condition this will also be exported to other countries from India.
Being developed & manufactured in India, the pricing will be affordable is what Hyundai says.
It’s too early to comment on the pricing but the driving range could be anything between 200-300 kms per charge.
Hyundai hopes to bring this product to Indian market by 2022, let’s hope India to have sufficient charging infrastructure by then.
