1- The above numbers do not have figures from AP, MP, LD & TS as all these States/UT’s are not yet on Vahan 4.
2- Vehicle Registration Data has been collated as on 06.12.20 and in collaboration with Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India and has been gathered from 1,265 out of 1,472 RTOs.

FADA has released the retail data for November 2020 & the good news is that Passenger vehicles & Tractors have shown a growth of 4.17% and 8.47% respectively, though the Auto industry has shown a decline in total retail numbers by 19.29%  Year on Year.

The major decline is seen in 3 wheeler segment which is 64.98%, followed by Commercial vehicles which declined by 31.22%. Two-wheelers also did not get exciting numbers during the festival season, probably as people prefer private modes of transport in a car for better safety during the COVID days.
