The Hyundai Creta facelift has finally been launched , with 6 trims, 3 engine options and 2 transmission options. Earlier the car had made its debut appearance at the Chengdu Auto Show, China. 2016 Sao Paulo Motor Show also featured the car with styling updates.

Aesthetic update include new headlamps and taillamps, new bumpers, new 17″ wheels and a bright orange paintjob.
The engine options available for the car is 1.4 litre CRDi- VGT diesel engine which churns out 90 hp and 220 Nm torque, and 1.6 litre Dual VTVT petrol engine which churns out 123 hp and 151 Nm torque at 4850 rpm, and 1.6 litre diesel engine which churns out 128 hp and 220 Nm torque. The 1.4 litre engine comes with a 6 speed manual transmission gearbox whereas the 1.6 litre ones come with a 6 speed automatic torque converter options. The car is available in 6 variants, namely, E, E+, SX, SX dual tone, SX AT and SX(O). The petrol engine gives a mileage of 15.29 kmpl and the diesel one gives a mileage of 21.38 kmpl. The car accelarates from 0-100 kmph in 11.2 seconds. The highest speed reached by the Creta is 185 kmph.
The facelift has a wider chrome finished hexagonal grille, which extends upto the headlamps of the car. Redesigned interiors and exteriors include, a new bumper, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and tweaked taillamps. Automatic climate control, multi-functional steering wheel, rear parking sensors with camera are the safety measures the car comes equipped with.
The facelift has an overall length of 4270 mm , breadth of 1780 mm and height of 1630 mm. the wheel base is 2590 mm. The ground clearance is 190 mm.The fuel tank capacity is 55 litres. The bootspace is 402 litres. The Chassis type is HIVE. The front suspension is handled by McPherson strut and the rear one is handled by torsion beam axle. 215/60 R17 is the tyre specification of the Hyundai Creta 2018.
