Jaguar first all-electric vehicle – the IPACE. A full electric SUV that was first shown as a concept in 2016. Less than two years later, they have managed to leave much of it unchanged for their production ready version.
In case you’ve managed to drain the battery completely, you can have 80% charge from a fast charger in 40 minutes, or in 10 hours from a regular home wall socket. Fully charged, the IPACE has enough energy to charge 9000 iPhones.
Jaguar has managed 395bhp from the two motors, one powering each axle along with 696Nm of torque – which is obviously available instantly. Electric car, remember. That’s 100kph in 4.8 seconds and a range of 480km to a charge.
Swooped back grille feeds an aero scoop under the bonnet and a clever rear spoiler makes airflow as clean as possible with a very slippery surface. It even manages to negate the need for a rear windscreen wiper.
The interior styling is something to drool over too
