Ducati India has launched the bigger and more powerful Scrambler 1100 with prices starting at Rs. 10.91 lakh (ex-showroom). The Scrambler 1100 has a more powerful 1,079 cc v-twin borrowed from the Monster 1100, but revised for more optimal power across the mid-range and a smoother throttle response. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 is the top-of-the-line model in the Scrambler family, and will address market demand for a more performance-oriented Scrambler. Globally, the Scrambler 1100 is available in three variants – the standard Scrambler 1100, Scrambler 1100 Special and Scrambler 1100 Sport. The Scrambler 1100 Special has been priced at Rs. 11.12 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Scrambler 1100 Sport has been priced at Rs. 11.42 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Scrambler 1100 is powered by the 1,079 cc, L-twin engine which is tuned to make maximum power of 85 bhp at 7,500 rpm and peak torque of 88 Nm at 4,750 rpm.
